About Our Tutor
Amber Seriki is originally from Baltimore, Maryland. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Studio Art from Spelman College. Upon graduation, Amber began her teaching career in Seoul, South Korea as an English teacher. There, she realized her passion for education and teaching children. In 2010, after returning to the states, she was accepted into the Baltimore City Teaching Residency program, a rigorous, competitive teaching program through The New Teacher Project. Upon completion, she obtained her teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education. Amber has since taught First Grade, all subjects, and Third Grade Mathematics and Science.

She and her husband recently relocated to Mobile, AL and since started a family requiring Amber to make the decision to take a break from the classroom to stay at home to nurture the development of their son. Although she is no longer in the classroom, her devotion to teaching remains steadfast. Therefore, she would love the opportunity to work with you and your child to foster their academic talents and help them reach their greatest potential!
